Wimpy's Marina and Deck Bar - Food, Family and Fun!

Here is one of our area's little hidden gems that should be shared! Whether it's 109 outside or 75 - Wimpy's is the hottest spot on the Sacramento River Delta! Family dining, a full air conditioned bar along with a deck bar, docks and marina! Did I mention it also has a store and RV park?

The river life is a world all it's own and Wimpy's not only taps into that life, they create it! With a fun, open atmosphere and boats docking just to get a drink or a bite. This place screams fun, family and good times! Whether they stop or float by; everyone is friendly here.

For helpful staff, great food and some truly fun times stop by Wimpy's Marina today... and bring your appetite.

Buffalo Chips

The Breakfast Burger at The Buffalo Emporium - Sutter Creek, California
The Breakfast Burger!

Many people travel to Sutter Creek California for it’s old west style, friendly people and collection of eclectic shops - all nestled in some of California’s more beautiful landscapes... but the next time you’re in Sutter Creek, and I suggest it’s soon, make The Buffalo Emporium your destination.

Approaching The Emporium greets you with an aroma of a skilled cooks hand. Walking into the “Old Farmhouse” style dining room greets you with friendly faces and well satisfied customers.

My recent visit inspired me to order the Breakfast Burger and it’s everything it looks like. A generous helping of properly cooked fresh ground beef, eggs, bacon and gravy; this place is serious about breakfast!

As delicious as it is daunting, I had no problem finishing off mine. My only regret was not getting one to go.

For friendly staff, great food and hometown atmosphere head to The Buffalo Emporium!

A Walk in the Park

Dry Creek Park - Antelope California
Perseverance - Dry Creek Park
A walk through Dry Creek Park in Antelope California you quickly realize that with the hiking trails, shady oaks and a beautiful and swimmable river - the name Dry Creek is a bit of a misnomer. Plenty of parking, public restrooms and well maintained paved/unpaved trails this is truly a hidden gem tucked away right off Wallerga road. Families come to swim, hike and play in the large open fields. And many on horseback smile and wave as they ride through.
